OVERDICK offers a range of services in the offshore and marine fields. These services are based on engineering, planning and project management.
Offshore Wind
The wind energy exploitation of the North Sea is one of the biggest challenges of the offshore industry in the years to come. OVERDICK is fully involved in this sector planning and designing production, transport and installation activities for clients ranging from Energy Utilities, Marine Contractors, Yards, Authorities, etc.
Offshore Oil & Gas
OVERDICK is specialized in the planning and design of surface facilities for the exploration and production of offshore oil and gas. Jackets, topsides, self installing platforms and various complex structures, etc.; OVERDICK will find a way to adjust the CAPEX to the budget, and therefore marginal field developments is our main speciality. But not only new build, also brown field engineering, decommissioning and removal, structural integrity management, etc. is part of OVERDICK expertise.
Naval Architecture
Ship design is one of the two roots of the Company. OVERDICK has specialized in design special purpose vessels for the offshore sectors like Jackups, DSVs, Tugs, etc. Comprehensive Naval Architecture services are also offered, from analysis to design of details, conversions, inspections and surveys.
Marine Operations
The design of an offshore platform is only possible when the designer know how to install it in a safe and controlled manner at the field at sea. OVERDICK transport & installation (T&I) services, engineering, contracting, procurement, inspections, management, MWS and Authority interface are based on the yearlong experience of having planned and managed complex marine projects in remote locations with limited resources. OVERDICK offers its expertise in T&I also for offshore projects where the design is from others.
Brownfield Engineering
OVERDICK provides its experience in structural design to the customer’s demands also in the wide filed of structural integrity management.
We take care of exhisting structures by inspecting them, collecting historical data, assessing the loading status, and finally analyzing the amount of structural life is in the asset yet. Our services are provided for small or large platforms or parts of it, from design reviews or fatigue life time management. Our capabilities include, but are not limited to, global and detail structural design and analysis (linear and non-linear FEA) of ship and offshore structures, rules checks, fatigue analysis, vibration analysis, collision simulation, geotechnical calculations, welding and non-destructive testing procedures, inspection procedures and management, repair procedures, etc.
Salvage
OVERDICK strong Naval and structural skills and experience are very useful for engineering ways to refloat stranded ships or remove wracks from difficult positions and unknown environments.
