The design of an offshore platform is only possible when the designers know how to install it in a safe and controlled manner at the field out at sea. OVERDICK transport & installation (T&I) services, engineering, contracting, procurement, inspections, management, MWS and Authority interface are based on our extensive experience of planning and managing complex marine projects in remote locations with limited resources. Additionally, OVERDICK offers its T&I expertise for Offshore projects designed by others.

Welland Platform Removal
Characteristics:


The Welland platform has been removed from the North Sea by two heavy offshore heavy lifts in the winter season. Detailed operation planning and marine engineering has been conducted by OV for the platform decommissioning.

Characteristics:


For the Bal Haf project, OV was involved in the design of the Transport & Installation activities. 12 jackets and topsides were built in Malaysia, transported to Yemen and installed.

BR-E Linking Bridges
Characteristics:


Two in-field bridges connecting BR-E gas treatment platform (L=75m) with the BR-D compression platform (L=100m) and with the vent tower. The vent bridge services as support for vent, flare and platform for pigging facilities.

BR-E Vent Tower
Characteristics:

The BR-E vent tower is installed in 54m of water to sustain the vent bridge (L=90m). Its main function is to sustain the vent and flare stacks of the gas treatment plant. It is also used as tower for pipeline risers.
